Winter Park Resort hosts the Hill Climb Kick-Off today and SolVista Basin’s bike park has downhill riders all over the mountain. A great day to be out riding and enjoying the summer temperatures in the mountains.
Also this week, the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber announced a new music festival coming July 16-17. The SolShine Music Festival is a free event featuring live music from artists all over the country.
4th of July is not too far away, book your lodging now for an event filled weekend starting with the Grand Park Run for Independence on July 2. This run is an annual tradition for many visitors to the county and I hope to see you there; I’ll be cheering runners on.
Then on July 4th at the Fraser Sports Complex, family activities and fun will begin late afternoon. Be sure to wear a tropical-themed outfit to help celebrate Independence.
